Competitors' anticut systems generally have 10 protective layers. SIP PROTECTION has a European patent for an anticut system made of 6 layers only. Thanks to this patented anticut system SIP PROTECTION garments offer the same safety level as competitors' garments.

European Standard 381-5
refers to the safety devices which need to be used when operating a chainsaw.
Class 1:
SIP PROTECTION garments can bear a chain speed of 20 metres per second.

TYPES OF PROTECTION

The anticut protection at 180°

protects the legs only on the front
The anticut
protection at 360°

protects the legs both on the front and on the back



THE OUTER FABRIC IS MADE


  • 35 % of cotton
  • 65 % of polyester


SIP PROTECTION garments may be washed in a washing machine at 60°


The shrinkage rate after washing is 1.6%. Competitor's shrinkage rate is usually between 4% and 6%.
